We found her when she was still a kitten, about 7 months old. It happened by chance — and in a way, she found us, not the other way around. We had come to catch a different cat who was hiding. We were calling for him, but instead, she came out — a small black kitten. She stretched forward her badly injured paw.
We didn’t have to catch her. We simply picked her up, gently placed her in a carrier, and went straight to the clinic.
The little one turned out to be very gentle and affectionate. Her wound was old and infected — we found her just in time, and her paw was saved. After treatment, Arabica didn’t go to temporary care — she went straight to her new home.
At home, Arabica quickly became “Demonessa,” or simply Nessie — a little black whirlwind who now runs the entire household.
