Manka (Semolina)

A young, affectionate, and sociable cat. Manka, this name means “semolina” from Russian. She actively seeks contact with people and gets along well with other cats. She loves being petted and scratched. She doesn’t like carriers and may protest, but she calms down if you gently scratch behind her ears.

Manka came to the Kotoprovod project in early March 2026. At first, the plan was only sterilization, vaccination, and release back to the street. However, several factors changed our decision — we are now looking for a loving and reliable home for her. She will not be returned to the street.

Because of her life outdoors, her gums were inflamed and some teeth became loose, so part of them had to be removed. She now has her canines and front incisors, which does not affect her quality of life — she eats dry food without any problems. Manka has been successfully sterilized (and at the clinic she even received a second name: “Manka Five Blankets” — you can guess why…).

The veterinarians also found an eosinophilic granuloma under her tongue. This condition could have led to dangerous bleeding that would be difficult to stop. We started a long course of medical treatment, which will be completed in May. Already now, only a small trace of the lesion remains — the treatment and her body are responding very well. After the treatment is finished, Manka will be vaccinated and microchipped.

We will take care of all her medical needs, but life on the street would be difficult for her — especially after spending a long time in a home environment and receiving care during treatment. She also has a wonderful, strong personality, and it would be a shame to send her back outside.

If you’re ready to fall in love, reserve her now. She will be ready to go to her new home as soon as her treatment and vaccinations are complete.
