Licorice needed time to get used to people and reveal her wonderfully gentle and friendly nature. Looking at this domestic beauty now, you would never guess that she once had such a hard life on the streets.
This beautiful creature of darkness has been spayed, treated for parasites, vaccinated, and microchipped, and she now has her own international veterinary passport. Street infections and poor nutrition had left her with inflamed gums and loose teeth. She underwent dental surgery, and all the diseased teeth that were causing her pain were removed. Licorice now has only her canines and incisors—but, like other little toothless dragons, she can still crunch dry food and live her best life.
Licorice gets along wonderfully with other cats and is especially close to her son Ganache; they ended up in the same foster home. Her daughter—and Ganache’s sister—Curry is already happily settled in her own home!
Our volunteers rescued Licorice from the same abandoned construction site as Syrnik, Gata, Purri, Ganache, and Curry. Fall in love with this gentle creature of darkness and adopt her, wherever in the world you may be!
